Dr ABIN BABY

Dr. Abin Baby is a dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in Foot and Ankle Surgery, with a strong focus on minimally invasive techniques and comprehensive orthopaedic care. He currently serves as an Associate Consultant in Orthopaedics at Aster Medcity, Kochi, one of Kerala’s leading tertiary care centers. Dr. Abin Baby completed his MBBS from MOSC Medical College, Kolenchery, followed by Diploma in Orthopaedics (D.Ortho) from Father Muller Medical College (FMMC), Mangalore, and earned his DNB in Orthopaedics from Aster Medcity. He has also completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgery, enhancing his expertise in the latest surgical techniques for deformity correction, fracture management, and sports-related foot and ankle conditions. Additionally, he holds a Master’s degree in Health Care Services (HCS) from Sikkim Manipal University (SMU). With over two years of focused experience in orthopaedics, Dr. Abin Baby has developed a keen clinical interest in the management of foot and ankle injuries, ligament and tendon disorders, diabetic foot problems, fracture fixation, and joint preservation surgeries. He is also committed to advancing patient outcomes through evidence-based care and minimally invasive surgical practices. Actively engaged in academic and clinical research, Dr. Abin has presented papers at several national conferences and was recognized with the Best Poster Award at the Kerala Orthopaedic Association (KOA) Conference. His academic excellence has also been acknowledged with a Certificate of Commendation from the National Board of Examinations for his thesis work.
