Dr. Amalu M. Babu is a dedicated and highly qualified Consultant Paediatrician with expertise in providing comprehensive healthcare for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. She holds MBBS, MD (Paediatrics), DNB (Paediatrics), PGPN (Post Graduate Program in Pediatric Nutrition), and PPP (Pediatric Preceptorship Program) qualifications and is committed to delivering evidence-based, compassionate, and family-centered paediatric care. She is currently pursuing a Diploma in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology from International Asthma Services, Colorado, USA, further strengthening her expertise in managing allergic and respiratory conditions in children. Currently practicing at SP Fort Hospital, Trivandrum, Kerala, Dr. Amalu M. Babu has extensive experience in paediatric outpatient, inpatient, and emergency care. She has previously served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Paediatrics at Government Medical College, Idukki, and as a Medical Officer at Government Taluk Hospital, Kattappana, where she was actively involved in paediatric care, neonatal management, developmental monitoring, public health initiatives, and medical education. She has also worked as a Consultant Paediatrician at Co-operative Hospital, Kattappana, delivering comprehensive paediatric and emergency services. Dr. Amalu M. Babu has a special interest in paediatric allergy, asthma, neonatal care, immunization, child nutrition, and growth and developmental assessment.
