Dr. Arun Mammen Mathew is a Professor of Orthopedics at Azeezia Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Kollam, with more than 15 years of experience in orthopedic clinical care, trauma surgery, arthroplasty, and academic medicine. His extensive experience includes participation in more than 5,000 orthopedic trauma procedures, covering both simple and complex fractures and trauma-related conditions. Dr. Arun Mammen Mathew completed his MBBS, Diploma in Orthopedics, DNB in Orthopedics & Traumatology, MRCS (Edinburgh), and FRCS International in Orthopedics & Traumatology (Edinburgh). He has also undergone specialized fellowship training in joint replacement, including primary and revision knee and hip replacement, with further experience and professional interest in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery. His clinical interests include trauma surgery, fracture reconstruction, joint replacement, sports medicine, knee arthroscopy, and shoulder arthroscopy. He has participated in more than 100 ACL reconstruction procedures and has extensive exposure to shoulder and knee arthroscopy.
