Dr. Ashok B is a dedicated and compassionate Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician with extensive clinical expertise in Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, General Pediatrics, Neonatology, Pediatric Sleep Medicine, and Adolescent Health. He is committed to providing evidence-based, family-centred care with a strong emphasis on early identification, timely intervention, and holistic management of developmental, behavioral, and medical conditions in children. Dr. Ashok B completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Tirunelveli, followed by M.D. (Paediatrics) from J.J.M. Medical College, Davangere, and DNB (Paediatrics). To further advance his expertise in child development, he completed a Fellowship in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics at the prestigious Child Development Centre (CDC), SAT Hospital, Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. He has also completed a Diploma in Pediatric Sleep Medicine, enabling him to provide specialised care for sleep disorders in children. Currently, Dr. Ashok B serves as Consultant Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician and Pediatric Sleep Specialist at NIMS Medicity, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. His medical career began with internship training at Government Medical College, Tirunelveli, followed by Junior Residency in Pediatrics at J.J.M. Medical College, Davangere. He later served as Senior Resident in Pediatrics at ESI Model and Superspeciality Hospital, Kollam, and subsequently worked as Specialist Pediatrician at KIMS Hospital, Kollam. Driven by his passion for child development, he pursued advanced Fellowship training in Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrics at the Child Development Centre (CDC), SAT Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram. Since 2026, he has been working as Consultant Developmental & Behavioral Pediatrician at NIMS Medicity, where he provides specialised developmental services while continuing to care for children with general pediatric and neonatal conditions. Apart from clinical practice, Dr. Ashok B actively conducts developmental awareness programmes, parent education sessions, teacher training programmes, and school-based workshops on child development, autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, sleep health, emotional well-being, and adolescent issues.
