BIBIN DAS, Kerala’s 1st Functional Neuropsychologist. I’m a Space-Occupying Brain Lesion Specific Emotion, Cognition & Behavior Retraining Expert. Functional Neuropsychology is my area of passion, so I always try to find the outcome of contentment. Functional Neuropsychology is the amalgamation of Behavioural science and Neuroscience to study how the neuroanatomy and cytoarchitectural functionality of the brain differently influence the emotion, cognition, and behavioral functions. A Functional Neuropsychologist possesses systematic and scientific knowledge about the brain’s five lobes (Frontal, Parietal, Temporal, Occipital, and Insula), their cytoarchitectural functioning and disorders, cerebral arteries and their territorial disorders, as well as brain measures (EEG, MRI/fMRI, CT, SPECT, fNIRS, rTMS, DBS). I see that people are often at one of the lowest points in their lives when something bad happens to them, & they can’t pick themselves up, no matter what happens, no matter what difficulties arise. I treat people of all ages with Brain-Based Events (TBI, Stroke, Brain Asymmetry, Aneurysm, Dementia, Cerebral Palsy, Neurodevelopmental Disorder, and other Chronic Functional Neurological Conditions). I do scientific & systematic things to turn their weakness into possibilities and improve their quality of life, be it school, workplace, or whatever. My confidence is that I will do what I can.
