Dr Joji Joshua Philipose

Dr. Joji Joshua Philipose is an experienced Orthopaedic specialist with a strong focus on helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and return to their everyday activities with greater confidence. He has particular expertise in joint reconstruction, hip and knee replacement, arthroplasty, arthroscopy, trauma care, and geriatric orthopaedics. His approach to patient care combines clinical experience with careful assessment of each patient's condition, functional needs, age, lifestyle, and treatment goals. Dr. Joji Joshua Philipose completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram, University of Kerala, graduating with First Class Honours in 2003. He subsequently completed his DNB in Orthopaedics from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, and underwent advanced training in the Arthroplasty and Arthroscopy unit at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. He also completed an MBA in Hospital Administration from BITS Pilani. His international exposure includes clinical observation and orthopaedic training at Royal Liverpool and Broadgreen University Hospitals, Liverpool, UK, where he gained experience in orthopaedic and trauma care. With extensive experience in both elective and emergency orthopaedics, Dr. Joji Joshua Philipose has worked with patients presenting with a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions. His clinical experience includes trauma surgeries, arthroplasty procedures and arthroscopic procedures, with exposure to subspecialties including trauma, spine, arthroplasty, arthroscopy and paediatric orthopaedics. His professional skills include complex upper- and lower-limb trauma surgery, arthroplasty and arthroscopic procedures. Dr. Joji Joshua Philipose has been associated with Believers Church Medical College Hospital, Thiruvalla, since 2014 and was involved in the initial development of the institution, including setting up the Orthopaedics department. He is currently the Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics. He is also the Dean of Believers Academy of Allied Health Sciences and has served as Medical Superintendent of Believers Church Medical Centre, Konni, Pathanamthitta.
