A Pediatrician by profession and a true administrator who played the key role in the transformation of Ernakulam General Hospital into what it is today. He successfully completed multiple projects in a short span of 3 years from 2009 to 2012 in Ernakulam General Hospital as the Medical Superintendent. He was instrumental in attaining NABH accreditation, installation of CT, MRI, LINEAR ACCELERATOR FACILITY, DIALYSIS UNIT, CATH LAB and so on. The facelift given to Ernakulam General Hospital was something that was recognised by the general public and administrators equally. Dr. Junaid was promoted to the post of District Medical Officer of Ernakulam District after his tenure at General Hospital. After retirement from government service, he played the key role of Medical Superintendent of Government Medical College, Kalamassery during its major transition period from Co-operative sector to Government Medical College. Currently he is the Medical Director for Sree Sudheendra Medical Mission Hospital. Dr. Junaid is professionally associated with Indian Medical Association, Indian Association Of Pediatrics and Kerala Government Medical Officers Association. He has held the highest post of President in all these organizations at state and district level.
