Dr Lipi Madhusoodhanan

Dr. Lipi Madhusoodhanan, with qualifications MBBS, MS (Obstetrics and Gynecology), and Fellowship in Gynaec Oncology, is a dedicated and highly skilled specialist in the field of women’s health. She currently serves as the Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist at the Fetal Medicine and High-Risk Pregnancy Department at CIMAR Edappal, a unit that manages over 2000 deliveries annually, with a significant proportion involving complex, high-risk pregnancies. These cases often include patients with recurrent pregnancy losses, and pregnancies complicated by underlying medical conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, cardiac diseases, and other systemic complications, including preterm labor. Dr. Lipi Madhusoodhanan is also associated with CIMAR The Women's Hospital, Kanimangalam, Thrissur, Kerala, where she continues to provide expert care and consultation in obstetrics and gynecology. In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Lipi Madhusoodhanan brings valuable academic experience, having served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Gynaec Oncology at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Kochi. Her commitment to advancing women’s health is reflected in her active participation in over 100 screening camps for gynecologic oncology, aimed at early detection and prevention of cancers affecting women. Throughout her career, Dr. Lipi Madhusoodhanan has maintained a strong presence in academic and public health forums. She has also contributed as an organizing member of several international medical conferences and has played an active role in conducting health awareness programs across schools and colleges. In her current role, she is also a core faculty member involved in DNB and FNB teaching and training programs at Edappal Hospitals, further shaping the future of obstetrics and gynecology professionals with her knowledge and mentorship.
