Dr Nisanth Puliyath

He is a Consultant in Urology, Uro-Oncology and Robotic Surgery at Aster Medcity, Kochi. He trained at Medanta, AdventHealth Orlando, UCSD and Johns Hopkins.   His practice focuses on robotic surgery for prostate, kidney and bladder cancers, MRI-targeted and trans-perineal prostate biopsy, and focal therapy for carefully selected prostate cancer patients, which may offer a less invasive option than radical surgery where clinically appropriate. He has authored more than 20 publications in indexed journals and presented at EAU London and AUA Washington D.C. His honours include the AUA-USI International Travelling Fellowship, and he was India's sole representative at the AUA Global Residents Leadership Retreat at AUA, Las Vegas. His current research includes AI-based risk prediction in prostate cancer.
