Dr. Rose Jose, MBBS, MS (Obstetrics and Gynaecology), is a dedicated and compassionate specialist in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, working as Senior Resident at Jubilee Mission Hospital Thrissur, is based in Nellikunnu, Thrissur, Kerala. With a strong academic background and comprehensive clinical training, Dr. Rose Jose combines deep medical knowledge with hands-on expertise in women’s healthcare, particularly in the management of high-risk pregnancies, infertility, gynecological disorders, and advanced surgical procedures. Dr. Rose Jose completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Jubilee Mission Medical College, Thrissur, where she laid the foundation for her medical career. She pursued her Master of Surgery (MS) in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the reputed Yenepoya Medical College, Yenepoya (Deemed to be University), Mangalore, where she underwent extensive postgraduate training from 2022 to 2025. During her postgraduate residency, Dr. Rose gained exceptional clinical exposure and surgical proficiency. Her training covered a wide spectrum of specialties including labor and delivery, gynecological surgeries, infertility management, and emergency obstetric care. She is proficient in performing complex procedures such as cesarean sections, hysterectomies, and laparoscopic surgeries. She also completed rotation postings in specialized fields such as gynecologic oncology, surgical oncology, medical oncology, palliative and preventive oncology, as well as reproductive medicine, radiology, and neonatal intensive care. Her commitment to holistic medical care was further enriched by her participation in a 10-day hands-on training in palliative care and long-term care, organized by the Palliative Care Society, Thrissur, as well as her involvement in the District Residency Programme (PGMER 2020, NMC) under the Government of Karnataka. This included postings in primary and community health centers, TB centers, and national health programs, reflecting her dedication to community and public health. Dr. Rose Jose also served as a Junior Resident in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at both Jubilee Mission Medical College and Yenepoya Medical College. Additionally, she worked as a Junior Medical Officer in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Sun Hospital, Thrissur, gaining valuable experience in emergency patient care.
