Dr. Thomas Angelo Skariah is a highly experienced Orthopaedic Hand and Upper Extremity Surgeon, renowned for his clinical expertise, academic commitment, and fellowship-level training in hand and microsurgery. With more than 13 years of experience in orthopaedics and over 9 years dedicated exclusively to hand and upper extremity surgery, Dr. Thomas Angelo Skariah has established himself as a trusted specialist in managing complex trauma and reconstructive conditions of the hand, wrist, and upper limb. Dr. Thomas Angelo Skariah completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kozhikode (University of Calicut), followed by MS in Orthopaedics from Government Medical College under the Kerala University of Health Sciences. He further pursued advanced superspecialty training and earned his FNB in Hand and Microsurgery from the internationally acclaimed Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, under the National Board of Examinations (NBE). This rigorous fellowship provided him with extensive hands-on experience in microsurgery, replantation, revascularisation, peripheral nerve surgery, brachial plexus injuries, wrist arthroscopy, and complex hand trauma management. Currently, Dr. Thomas Angelo Skariah serves as Associate Professor of Orthopaedics and Hand Surgery at Believers Church Medical College Hospital (BCMCH), Thiruvalla, Kerala. In this role, he is actively involved in both clinical care and academic training, managing outpatient services, emergency cases, and surgical treatment of hand and upper extremity injuries, while also mentoring undergraduate and postgraduate medical students in orthopaedics and hand surgery.
