Dr Vinayak M

Dr. Vinayak M is an experienced Consultant Nephrologist with advanced training in Nephrology and a special interest in complex kidney diseases, glomerular disorders, critical care nephrology, onconephrology, and extracorporeal therapies. He holds MBBS, MD in General Medicine, DM in Nephrology, and DrNB in Nephrology, with additional academic and specialized training in nephrology and medical toxicology. Dr. Vinayak M is currently working as a Consultant in Nephrology at KIMSHEALTH, Trivandrum, Kerala, where he provides comprehensive evaluation and treatment for patients with acute and chronic kidney disorders. He has previously served as an Associate Consultant in Nephrology at KIMSHEALTH, Trivandrum, an Associate Consultant in Nephrology at MGM Healthcare, Chennai, and an Assistant Professor in Nephrology at Tamil Nadu Government Multi Super Speciality Hospital, Chennai. His academic journey includes MBBS from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, MD in General Medicine from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and DM in Nephrology from Government Kilpauk Medical College, Chennai. He subsequently obtained DrNB in Nephrology from the National Board of Examinations (NBE). He has also completed the European Specialty Examination in Nephrology (ESE Neph) conducted by the Royal College of Physicians, UK. Dr. Vinayak M has pursued additional focused training in kidney diseases through programs including the Glomcon Glomerular Disease Fellowship, Glomcon Kidney Pathology Certificate Program, and the World Kidney Academy Fellowship in Glomerulonephritis. He is also pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Medical Toxicology from the Indian Society of Toxicology, strengthening his expertise in the management of poisoning and kidney-related complications requiring extracorporeal therapies. With a particular interest in Onconephrology, Critical Care Nephrology, Glomerular Diseases, and Extracorporeal Therapies in Poisoning, Dr. Vinayak M focuses on providing specialized and evidence-based care for patients with complex renal conditions.
