Dr Vivek Soman

Dr. Vivek Soman is a highly accomplished and dedicated ENT Surgeon and Laryngologist with extensive expertise in the diagnosis and management of disorders affecting the ear, nose, throat, voice, and swallowing. He is known for his patient-centred approach, combining advanced surgical skills with compassionate and ethical care. Dr. Vivek completed his MBBS from Government Medical College, Kottayam, Kerala, followed by MS (ENT) from Government Medical College, Bellary, Karnataka. He further strengthened his academic credentials with a DNB in ENT and Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences (MNAMS). To gain focused expertise in voice and laryngeal disorders, he completed a Fellowship in Laryngology (APSI-certified) from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Following his postgraduation, Dr. Vivek has worked in several renowned institutions across Kerala, including Government TD Medical College, Alappuzha, Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi, and Rajagiri Hospital, Aluva. He brings over eight years of extensive clinical experience after postgraduation in managing a wide range of ENT conditions. Currently at Smita Memorial Hospital and Research Centre, Thodupuzha, Dr. Vivek treats a broad spectrum of ENT disorders—from common ear, nose, and throat problems to complex conditions involving the larynx, voice, and swallowing.
